Come on Carlos, you know me better. No one knows better than I the contributions made at the employee level. Why, I was even one myself!
But, you also know that the funding from the OWNERS, (i.e. the states of NM AND CO) has been VERY lopsided. When I asked about CO politicians proclaiming the C&T the "official" historic railroad of Colorado, the response I got was, we have the D&S(which they don't even know they don't own). Maybe you should direct your energy to trying to correct this myth.
