Arrrrgh ... every time I think of that song or John What's-his-name I feel a little sick. Having been a proud Colorado citizen back in the 70's when it was becoming overrun with Californians and New Yorkers because of John What's-his-name's song, and seeing what has happened to my once-beautiful state, I feel nauseated that they should pick that song as a symbol. John's little airplane took care of a chore many of us wanted to do for years, although I hate to see that happen to anyone, really. And, if you think that Rocky Mountain High didn't have anything to do with controlled-substances, you are deceiving yourselves. I (vaguely) remember those days!(No - I do not partake nowadays and haven't for many many years. -- Damn! I probably cannot ever become President!)

As to Colorado/N.M. and C&TS, Colorado has no gripe coming - they have not held up their end of the bargain very well at all .... sometimes think they should just sign C&TS over to its southern neighbor who seems to have much more interest in maintaining that treasure.
That's my story and I am stickin' to it!
