many tour options also allow you to do the same thing. If you could, this would be the ultimate route to all of Colorado's Railroads. Start in Denver, head west to the CRRM and the Georgetown Loop. Overnight in Leadville. Next day, Leadvile, Colorado and Southern and head over to Glenwood Springs. The next day, drive from Glenwood to Durango via the San Juan Skyway over the old RGS route. Next day(s) the Silverton, then drive to Chama. Next day(s) ride C&TS roundtrip and then head to Alamosa. Ride the new San Luis and Rio Grande, then visit Great Sand Dunes National park or head straight to Canon City. Ride the Royal Gorge Route and then head up to Cripple Creek and ride the narrow gauge there. Return via Pikes Peak over the Midland and up the Cog. Then end in Denver.
