There were several narrow gauge possibilities in Utah as well as in Colorado.I don't think I have ever seen a photo of foreign road cars on the D&RGWRy in Utah though. Interchange of narrow gauge cars with the D&RGWRy was possible at:
Ogden with the Utah & Northern from May 1883 until summer of 1890. The Rio Grande was standard gauged into Ogden in June 1890, and the U&No. was converted in "summer 1890".
Salt Lake City with the Utah & Nevada Ry and its successor the Oregon Short Line from March 1883 until June 1890.
Salt Lake City with the Salt Lake & Ft. Douglas Ry. from June 1888 until April 1890.
How about interchanges in New Mexico? Any possibilities there?
