Everyone:
Okay, that's it. Enough is enough.
Is anyone else out there trying to maneuver around the 1" (HO) and 1.5" (O) gaugers (to avoid the toy handlers) and get to the reality of 36" and maybe a 24" and even 4'8.5" information? Maybe this web site should split with those who want their toys on one web site and us men who work with reality on another.
Now I don't mind if a modeller asks about some sort of prototypical dimension questions or paint scheme but then it generates in whole discussions on what some Japanese brass parts data dat dat da da....boring!
Just thing of all the money and time spent on shadows when so much could of been preserved, rebuilt, and operated. Too many take the easy way out, don't get their hands dirty, and it's all gone (like John Allen's) at their passing.
Inviting retorts from the basement for the parlor car croud?
