I thought the scale model discussion was good diversion . There is no flaming controversy going on ,the C&T is in good hands ,and interesting stuff is going to happen on some preservation efforts across th e nation. After all ,this is the time of year that a lot of guys do their model work , keeping the cabin fever at bay .The "hall of shame" discussion was frequently hilarious .
Often after a 10 hours on a K-36 the last thing I want to do is work on a model of one .But when I pull my Sn3 model of #488 out it is great to say to myself ,"I engineered on this locomotive"...
