I would like to thank everyone for their knowlege of this topic. It makes me thankful for what has been saved by the C&TS and the DSNG. I do have some more questions does anyone know how the cars for the C&TS were picked. Were they better then other cars or were they just in one area?. Also does anyone have any idea of how much freight and passenger cars were lost in the 1960's and 1970's? I have no idea and would like to know. If anyone has more pictures of scraping of DRGW freight cars, passenger cars, or locos could you please post them. I sorry to bring up this sad topic, but it makes you thankful for what we have and happy Thanksgiving!!
