S.V. about 6 or 7 years ago, I drove way up the left hand fork canyon above Bourne. No idea what the names of the mine workings I was driving by were. There was a cable gate to lock the road, but it was down and open, so I went way up there in my little Ford Ranger. I had a bit of a worry that I would spend too much time prowling around and have one of the several people I met in rigs lock the gate behind me, so I kind of did the once over. What supprised me was that way up in there were some remnants of a 3ph. transmission line by one of the mines with Cal-Pac (the company that bought out E.O.L&P at some point) tags on the poles. I new nothing of Rock Creek or a line through the mountains at the time, but now I assume that this was remnants of the line through the mountains?
