Here are 3 established funds the Friends control. What I would like to see is a 483 fund added to the list.

Another Century of Narrow Gauge Steam Campaign
The ACNGS campaign, begun in April 2002, is the Friends most successful and ambitious fundraising campaign to date, with over $600,000 received in pledges and cash donations. The funds have been used to match EDA grants for locomotive rehabilitation, as well as for purchasing parts for locomotives. Funds raised by this campaign will be used for capital for short and long-term operating needs; historic preservation, interpretation, and public education; and the establishment of a permanent C&TS endowment fund. Mike Hipskind Fund
Mike Hipskind died of a heard attack on August 20, 1999 while doing what he loved: photographing trains. He was actively involved with the Friends in developing interpretive signs for the yards and for use on trains, and he helped install the new sound system in the trains. He was also active in the docent program, and was considered by all to be a walking encyclopedia of C&TS history. Donations to this fund are used to create interpretive displays and other projects designed to emphasize the history of the C&TS.
Ralph Flowers Fund
The Ralph Flowers Fund was established in memory of Ralph Flowers, a member of the organization from 1991 until his death on September 1, 1999. Ralph was elected to the Friends' board of directors in 1994 and quickly established himself as our "man in Chama," serving as work session site boss in Chama during the work sessions. Proceeds from the Ralph Flowers Fund are used to purchase parts, materials and off-site services used to restore and overhaul the C&TS locomotive fleet.
