Hi John, et al -
There is already a fund for ALL of the C&TS locomotives - the "Another Century of Narrow Gauge Steam" fund, to which I have been donating $100 per year for the past two or three years and will continue to donate $100 per year for the foreseeable future.
Due to it's unique roll in the history of both the final years of the D&RGW and the first years of the C&TS, #483 is a special engine. Those of us who recognise this are trying to raise awareness, and restore #483 to her former glory. This is in addition to, and separate from, the "Another Century" campaign.
