hmmmm.....I have never heard of standard-gauge flatcars being used by the McKelvey Bros., only EBT NG flats. The Timber Transfer crane was originally built to transfer logs from NG to SG freight cars - about 18 months or so after it went into operation, the McKelvey Bros. abruptly went bankrupt and ceased logging operations (1928). The crane stood idle until 1933 when it began to be used for retrucking of SG freight cars.
