I was the fellow in the hat cleaning up painting supplies. It was a pleasure speaking with you, however briefly. Sorry we all had to run off and carry a beam into the Foundry. Late in the second day of restoration we were all getting pretty tired.
That is certainly not the first time those pop machines have eaten someone's money.
BTW, they don't give tours of the building except to groups and during special events (Opening Day weekend, Community Appreciation Day and the Fall Spectacular weekend)
There are 125 hoppers in Mount Union at my last count, plus 3 boxcars, 2 flat cars, 2 side dump cars, 1 tanker, and 15 army boxcars.
