As to the K.RY. Co.#12, My first look see was
at BAYSHORE SHOPS (the rip track) , she was loaded on a big SG flat car siting in the
yard. The owner was JOHN HOUGHTON of Livermore,Ca.
The locomotive was about 1/2 the way dismantled.
This had to be sometime in 1966-67. I next saw #12 at a old factory site near Agnews station (Santa Clara). Also on site was H.RY. Co. # 5 and a number of ex. Mex. wood passenger
cars. The #5 was just wheels sets and a new boiler. Bob keller and Houghton had removed the #12's jacket and were working hard clening the boiler shell.
