What are you talking about? How is an engine with 15,000 #s TE better than the #40 which was rated at 20,600#s TE. I guess in the CHS distorted view of the world fewer carloads of tourists being hauled behind steam equates to better.
I guess I also forgot who is funding all this little musical train charade being orchestrated by the CHS. The same morally bankrupt government who picks the pockets of those least able to afford it, the poor and elderly in the name of gambling revenue. And let's not forget all the j-o-b-s that were created up in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek. Yeah, just wait about 20 years and let's see when the gambling dens employees are diagnosed with lung cancer from breathing all the second smoke how good a deal it was for them.
