The word is out! Great news!
That is the engine: Baldwin #60690 2/1929, one of the three heaviest engines to run on island of Maui. You can see some fine photos of it on page 12, 30, 29, 28 of Gerald Best's book "RR of Hawaii".
It is a beautiful engine and will serve as well or better than #40. I'm sure there is money out there to buy it, as I may even be interested.
Other good news is that Rob Mangles, who conducts rules classes in the east, operates #261, as well as many other steam efforts, is on Peter Gores staff to aid at Georgetown. You can't find a better operating man in the country. Exciting times are ahead.
