Re: Railstar At Next Loop Park Committee Meeting

There were quite a few people at the meeting which was much more of an open house than the question-and-answer event that was expected.
More details at CHRRPA tomorrow, but a few tidbits are:
-Per Ron Trottier, Kahalui #12 is the expected Railstar motive power for May 28th and should be on the Loop in April;
-#9 may (or may not) be the CHS motive power for the Loop, pending the operational restoration of Breckenridge's #111;
-Jason Midyette has rebuilt several drop-bottom gons for passenger service;
-Railstar has constructed roller-bearing equipped passenger cars;
-Peter Gores was as advertised and said there is a 'legacy' of the Loop that shouldn't be messed with ('messed with' is my words).
