An alternative to Hucks, which are quite expensive,would be cold rivets. Cold rivets do require a hydraulic squeezer to set them but they draw up the parts as well as a Hucks does and do not require the expertise that hot rivets do. It would be my guess that one of the car shops would loan or rent the squeezer. The hydraulic pump is driven by an electric motor. Probally 440/3phase.
The availability of the proper power would have to be checked. The squeezer is heavy and must be hung from a crane or boom but two men can set a lot of rivets with one. They are excellent for highly stressed areas like the draft sills, bolster connection, etc.
