Yes, the Leavonworth report was sent to the AG (Salazar) this past fall. This Leavonworth report initiated the performance audit of the CHS/SHF by the state auditors. The state audit (recently released) confirmed most of the issues in the Leavonworth Report - within the state auditor's scope. Now that the state has essentially backed the Leavonworth report, both the Leavonworth report and the state auditor's report will now be sent to the appropriate legal authorities in various jurisdictions- with an emphasis on the various legal issues.
The wheels of justice are slow to turn - but they do turn.
I think that a lobbying effort needs to be initiated. I know some have already done this, but if you want the state politicians to hear what you are saying, send a letter (and get everyone you know to do so to) stating your preference (and why) of having the Loop Park reorganized/transferred to another entity- preferably to a non-profit that cares about trains, to your state rep or district rep or whoever, with a $10-20 donation. This is simple and it can work.
