Plan B would've worked out great if Gov. Owens and the local government would've listened to anyone. I don't know the numbers, but I know myself, and many others sent letters and e-mails that fell to deaf ears to the state government; and they did absolutely nothing! I'm sure they could've stepped in and done SOMETHING!! The same with Six Flags management when they originally proposed the dieselization of the Georgia park...and if a government bears the characteristics of SFTP, you know you're in for trouble!! The future of the Loop will continue in the path towards whatever motley operation CHS can throw together for May, since if the state-level government above the CHS didn't step in already, they won't now. The only hope would be if CHS was humiliated not only in the railroad world, but by the State of Colorado and became a total joke when people see what they're operating next season. And if the state government doesn't see the embarrasment that their 'historical' division proposed after this year (or the .01% chance it isn't an embarrasment), the matter isn't only dead, but the wake is over...and the nails are going in as the coffin is sealed up and buried in a cement vault like George Washington where it can never be recovered.
