New Mexico, and especially Santa Fe, reaped a bumper crop of tourists this summer, according to most industry statistics.
"We're seeing quite an increase statewide," said Art Bouffard, executive vice president of the New Mexico Hotel and Motel Association.
Are you saying that statewide everybody but a few got lucky. I would think a more reasonable explanation is A few (the ones that are down) didn't do the marketing correctly and the rest did a good job. If there is quite an increase statewide then it can't be written off to lucky or unlucky but most did the job and a few didn't.
