When we last rode in 2014 the Carcross train stopped at Bennett for the lunch in the station dining room. Here are a couple pix.
Eating on the train is not a bad option, but it was kind of neat eating in the historic station dining room.
Here is another picture of 114 back in 2014.
We didn't get to Carcross on that trip. Just east of Bennett was a small mud slide that block our way, so we had to turn at Bennett and head back. But we got a refund so it wasn't bad for a free trip. I might add that the container on the flat acted as a boxcar for canoes and camping gear that was off loaded at Bennett for folks who were going camping along the lake.
