I didn't notice a lot of
new information in that article (if you have already been following the SLRG saga) but there is a somewhat striking photo of a
snowy "meeting" atop La Veta Pass:

The article also summarizes the status of Soloviev's offer to buy the [mostly dormant] former Rio Grande Tennessee Pass line, now owned by UP.

Note that the SLRG connection at Walsenburg is to the south of Pueblo, off the bottom of the map, but the KCVN/Colorado Pacific line is shown on the map, marked as "Towner Line".
