What you mean-um infamous, Kemo Sabé?

I was hoping there would be a C&TS 50th B.D. party last year, but the pandemic put the kaibosh to that.  I've been toying with helping put together a 50th Anniversary commemoration of the C&TS very first semi-Phraud-O-Phreight* – The Toltec Rattler of 10/22/72 – on October 22, 2022 (which will be a Saturday), but ONLY if Olaf and Roger Wigwam and Steven F. Ornery and You and a couple of others will help . . .   Whatcha Think???

*  I call it "semi-Phraudo" 'cause there was no attempt to make it 100% authentic — it was a double-header instead of a two-engine freight with the helper near the back, and they didn't even change the tenders from Ernie's 4-inch "CUMBRES AND TOLTEC SCENIC RAILROAD" to flying Rio Grande.  Sure was a GREAT day, though!!   See [ngdiscussion.net] for pics.
