Dick...there ARE other NG tourist operations in Colorado. The GTL RR is one of the major torism draws in the Front Range, and effects a huge economic infrastructure in tourism.
Any attemped restoration of #9 gives us information on the secret plans of the CHS about whether the GTL RR will run next season.
If the GTL RR is silent with rusted rails next season it will be an economic disaster for the catchment basin the CTL RR serves.
Having been there in 1970 when the C&TS was born, and being one of the four, that returned #463 back to Colorado.....I can tell you that we all must see the 'big picture' in terms of Colorado tourism...and the NG RR's that helps propel CO tourism. It ISN'T just about the Antonito shops.
