Roger's "Golden Eagle" thread has jumped from 21 posts to 25, while this thread has been stagnant at 33 for more than a week! While you're out hiking with Jack I'll take this opportunity to post a b&w cropped copy of one of your negatives that arrived in last nights mail — "Moo-Cows at Monero":

They're not as visible and there's not as many of 'em as in the shot at Willow Creek roughly 2½ months earlier (just two hiding behind the bushes at lower right), but I figured when you (at least) respond to this post that'll bump the counts up from 33:25 to 35:25 – a 7 to 5 ratio which, while not as good as the 6 to 4 lead you had a couple of weeks ago, is still a bit of an improvement over last week.

p.s. Unlike Ernie, I don't remember you ever explicitly giving me permission to post copies of your photos on the NGDF, but IIRC you never told me not to, and whereas you've expressed serious concern with your ratings I'll go ahead and take a chance and ask for forgiveness later if I've been too presumptuous . . .
