My recollection from 2014 is mega power lines south of the Shalona Crossing and around the curve a bit. You drive it and the RR is up there in the shadows, and power lines are down to the area near the highway. I had to climb across a ditch to get the darned wires out of the frame for the video I did between the shelf and the crossing. If you stand at the road, its power-line city! Guess I agree with Earl on this one. As Jerry said the area from Shalona Crossing to Rockwood is very scenic, but its not that far.
