Thank you. That about lines up with what I expected to see.
Do you know the permitted vehicle height and especially width on Newfoundlands' railways during the earlier period? Cape gauge railroads varied in their standards, ranging from NZR's historic (though since increased) 8 foot 6 permitted width to South Africa with its 10 foot wide equipment. Loading gauge can often tell more about a given railroad than track gauge.
