Tenwheelers 100-110 were all built by Baldwin between 1898 and 1908.
I believe the gummins for Tenwheelers 111-120 were supplied by Baldwin, but their assembly was by Reid-Newfoundland. As a result they were proudly given Reid-Newfoundland serial numbers 1-10. Number 111 was therefore quite special, and there are quite a number of photos showing what was probably her first test run. I love the kids on hand for the event - I'm sure we would have all been there too!
The "face" of 112 and the engines beyond had more character to their smokebox front, and to me looked like Tweetsie's Tenwheelers. More pics of these Tenwheelers to follow.....
