I'll second Greg's motion, Olaf - PLEASE do the photo story!
I'd love to see it, as I was lucky to be there in 1967 as well, but only for the August 28 & 29 runs over Cumbres — the trains with an extra caboose to accommodate John Gruber of
Trains Magazine. (My scratchy moldy-oldie photos from those two days can be found at [

BTW, Finnell's painting is so similar to the photo that it almost looks like the artist tinted – or maybe painted over – a large print.
