Hi, Again -

Picking up where the NGDF editor dumped me off, here's the next set taken of the westbound train at Osier.
The last shot of these four shows my "Camera Platform" for most of the preceding ones:


IIRC, John Gruber of Trains Magazine was riding that day - I wonder if that's John on the back platform of the kibutz?

Thanks to my stalwart "Jeep",** I got from Osier to Cresco Tank before the train:


Back in them thar "Olden Days", Lobato Trestle was still accessible to us 'wild-eyed foamers from California':


The last shot on the first roll shows #497 arriving from Durango (above), apparently without a helper, about an hour after Fred Oster and friends rescued my little car** and me from a ditch in The Narrows.  See [ngdiscussion.net] for details . . .

** Actually a 1964 Triumph TR-4 (see [ngdiscussion.net]).  Anyone remember the color?
