Really nice photo Hey and I love the sharpness of the crop ... at least, the "sharpness" I can see on my tablet!
As for cameras, it all depends on how one intends to use the end product. A Nikon 850 is just as silly for the person who just looks at his photos on a computer as a $100 Sony point & shoot is to someone who will be processing the image to make the incredible photos we regularly see on this list.
I'm glad that we have these great photographers but spending $3-5k on a camera/lens combo is just not in my future. I have a 16 mp Canon fixed lens that I carry with me just about everywhere and it does almost everything I want it to do. But after seeing some of my photos from my day in Chama last October, I do wish I had a slightly better camera so I could do some tighter cropping like Jerry shows. And more skills at exposure selection too!
