Re: Interesting RYPN thread

So what is someone who takes such an opinion proposing? That no steam locomotives should be operating, no old cars should be on the road, no buildings should be renovated, etc? If someone wants to run a tourist railroad, we are supposed to build new locomotives as to preserve the old ones? I drive an old car. When something breaks, am I supposed to fix it with a new part or just park it? Original parts from the original manufacturer are no longer being made. I can tell you that I get thanked at least once a week from random strangers who are happy I am driving my old car around and using it rather than parking it in a garage somewhere.
