Hi,
In the 1970's after I saw the first printing of the 4-wheel D&RG 1870 equipment (in Slim Gauge News as I recall), I was struck by how well these small D&RG equipment would fit behind the AHM Eggar Bann (SP?) HOn2 1/2 equipment. Being about 18-20 at the time, I did not have the leaning/experience, yet, to do this.
I'll definitely keep On30 in mind for the rolling stock.
The size of the D&RG equipment can as easily fit 36" gauge as well as 30".
I came into a small nest egg when my property was sold for Fi Fa (unpaid taxes). I lost money in an absolute sense (I paid $1000 per acre in 1986-7 and received $716 per acre in 2017). However, it dawned on me that it was large enough to not only get to early retirement (age 62 at 75% for me In December, 2017) but also allow me to try to get my business a shot in the arm. I've grabbed the bull by the horns and am trying hard to be successful (defined as being able to support of myself - I do not need rich).
FYI, the reason I chose the class 25 and class 35 light locomotives was the similarity between parts of the two. Development of one would give the other with maybe 65% addition development cost (or maybe less).
As for status, I have sent the class 25, class 35 and class 42 frames to the 3D printers to see how they will look and to try to locate any issues I overlooked in design. Ultimately they will be brass. I learned log ago that touchy-feely is often the best way to find problems and each frame was under $5.00 to print.
