Unfortunately, Henry Sorensen, and others I knew, involved with the widening of the gauge on the Kiso #6 (Baldwin) are deceased. His son may have been involved with the re-gauging, but I have never discussed it with him. All I know is Henry told me it was a pain in the a@@, and he would not have done it had he known what a pain it was. He was, although, happy with the engine, operating it on his property until Insurance costs became high, and the new housing development neighbors near his property complained. He was a great wealth of information, and is a missed member of the narrow gauge community. Both of his 0-4-2s are on display at the California Railroad Museum in Sacramento.
