They were too long for the S.Baker turntable as well, and were never housed in the aging roundhouse. A new 3 stall engine house was built for them. SVRy 17 was also converted to oil and stored in the 3rd stall. S.Baker had a wye for turning and Austin had a balloon track. This is new information to me that the WP&Y had looked at buying them. Thanks for the added detail.
