Both were installed when the railroad arrived. But we don't know the locations. There seems to be a period of time when there was not a turntable at Laws. The turntable locations probably are the same. But not sure.
We know that an engine house was built at Laws (then Bishop Creek Station) when the railroad arrived.
Then -- I think 1888 -- it was torn down and reassembled at Belleville. Dale Darney once noted that H. M. Yerington wrote to D.O. Mills that the train schedule change now necessitated an engine house in Belleville and so the one from Bishop Creek was relocated. The Bishop newspaper noted the dismantling and then 25 years later quoted that news.
