One must look harder and open ones eyes to what is under ones big nose.

Looking again at these photos of cars 3102 and 3132 at Rockwood and Cimarron we can see the brake layout. Looking at the third photo the brake cylinder we can see that the brake levers are attached to the cylinder as with the older brake system layout.

This leads to the next question, why did these cars get this system and how many got this system? But I think I will stay away from that!

Take a good look at the brake cylinder and see wher the levers are attached at the two ends of the cylinder. I am going out tomorrow to get bigger glasses.
