Dirko,
Your right on, my best memories are going to Pietras for pizza on Saturday night, Uncle Bob would hold court and tell us stories. We didn't realize then what great sessions we were sitting in on. One thing, Bob's stories varied very little each time he told them. The man's memory was flawless. My only regret was I didn't have a tape recorder. Many of these stories showed up in Bob's two books, Chasing Trains and Rio Grande, Chasing the narrow gauge.
