Excellent point Rich - this report IS 'Preliminary'. While it's frustrating to be on the outside looking in, the process of evaluation and determining next steps is deliberative and slow. There will be more in-depth evaluations and reports as the commission and consultants work through this process. It's certainly fun to speculate and dream up solutions but I for one resist the urge. One thing is clear to me, the bridge was already in marginal condition prior to the fire and that is sobering news in itself.
