Those are GREAT videos! I have a copy of "Chased by a Train", but not this one - which I'll ask
Cindy to get for me next Christmas!!

It looks like that first clip was shot about 1/8 to 1/4 mile closer to Windy Point - and a bit lower
on the hill - than the rock I have perched on a few times over the years. The last time I was there
the trees had grown up a bit and blocked some of the earlier view. (What else is new?)

IIRC, in 1962 there was a photo run-by, and - being MUCH younger then - I had climbed up the hill from the track. In 1975, '96 and 2004 I hiked in on the trail and then about 75 yards down the hill - but with about ten pounds of Mamiya RB-67 & tripod, not fifty pounds of movie gear.
