I want to thank all who posted on this thread. This was a very fascinating look back at a single event in Narrow Gauge railroading that has affected so many lives over the years.
Well done to those who did the field work on this project.
As a small contribution, here is a Dunscomb photo of SP #14 in her last service as a stationary boiler at the shops in Colfax, CA in the late 1940's.
