Dave-You are making me entirely homesick! My mother lives on the backside of the mountains in the background, and I kept an old willys Jeep there to explore the San Francisco River and that area. You could spend a lifetime in those hills and not find all of the old ghost towns, railroad lines and stage roads. If you get the chance to go to Mogollon you can still follow the narrow gauge tram there through "upper Mogollon," another one worth checking out is the Alisa mine tramway down in Lordsburg-not a good one when it is hot!
