This shot provides a view of the small pier on the north side of the bridge. The northern end of the bridge is hidden from view until you start up into the canyon. Quite an impressive structure bridging a deep canyon in the middle of nowhere.
The canyon twists and turns beyond the bridge site. Not many signs of life down here but we did find a fairly complete rib cage off of some large animal.
The most colorful thing down in the canyon was this one lonely plant with bright red blooms.
