Yes, I meant EBT's mike #16. The EBT currently runs under state boiler code (not sure it's much, if any, of an improvement, but...).
Now, (As I understand it.) The only public crossing on the section of the EBT in use. at grade, is NOT a true public crossing, rather it is 2 seperate public roads with an easement across the EBT's private property. At least that's the current legal argument that keeps them under the Communewealth of Pee-ay'z juristiction rather than the FRA. Once they re-connect the dual gauge in Mt Union to the tourist line, they will come under the FRA, though there is some question as to whether it will be the whole shebang or just those engines which use that end. (nice, huh?)
The EBT is also under a bit of fire from some of the townies in Mt Union for their attempts to maintain the integrity of the RoW. It probably doesn't help that one of the habitual tresspassers is the local magistrate's dad and another council member critical of the EBT was once evicted from a company owned house. (doncha just LOVE polyticks?)
