Exactly. The best, fastest and most efficacious way to help th EBT right right now is indeed to buy tickets, even if you don't intend to ride or visit.
Only the money collected at the ticket window is money sure to be reinvested in the railroad. It is ticket revenues that pay for tie replacement, basic maintenance--indeed, pretty much everything the railraod gets done these days.
