That's what I thought - I was just confused by your answer to David.
It will probably be easier to get state and/or federal restoration funds for the depot than for any future engine rebuilds - partly because there are already several engines running, and even more so because of the depot's age and historicity. (Yes "historicity" is a word - at least it passes my spell chequor.)
I get the impression that the current economy may even help the C&TS, what with more foreign visitors, Americans vacationing at home instead of in Europe etc., and stimulus funds being available for places like Chama. And the depot certainly does need some help. Last summer the floor was like a trampoline in places!
