Gilpin Ore Tram and other 2ft Gauge Operations in the US

Ok guys you reacted all positively to my pictures of the G&LPrr #40.

Now I wanted to ask you's out there in US Narrow gauge land what compilation of information exist (any websites) about 2ft operations in the US, outside of Maine.

The picture that still shows below is Z-3476 and it looks like the Gilpin Ore Tram with there typical ore cars... but the number 3 in the picture looks almost big enough to be a 3ft. gauge was there an interchange with 2ft-2-3ft?

I know there is a book on the Gilpin Ore Tram, my father has a copy in storage that I haven't seen in almost 2 decades, hes started making a copy of the ore car for his 10 1/4" gauge, but died when he tried to put hot rivets in the side panels that start curly the sides...

Ralph MacGalister (my honary Grandfather) had a pair of wood end frames from one of the ore cars.

There was also a plan afoot to rebuild the Gilpin as a tourist line, the 2 ft shay that was in Golden and the Black Forest, and recently sold to back east was suppose to pull trains up the hill. And the 2ft. gauge Simpola 4-4-0 now in Texas on the private ranch with a garrett and Kalaharia was suppose to haul a train on a more flat saddle in the hills of Central City Blackhawk. I guess as the oil money dried up in the late 70's so did the money to buy the properties in Blackhawk. And the idea died...

So I looked into wikipedia to see if there where any other mentions of 2ft. gauge and not even Gilpin Tram is mentioned. (Maybe someone can edit that that has at least the book as reference)
[en.wikipedia.org]

I am now envolved with a group restoring a 2ft. gauge cement railroad close to Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am working at helping translate the website into english and I am wondering how to connect this railroad in internet to other 2ft gauges so that it gets some more internet time?

[br.geocities.com]
[pt.wikipedia.org]

Any good orginisation or webgroups about 2ft. in the US? Germany/Europe and England/Wales are much better or orginised and documented. What's with the US? Alone all the tourist 2ft gauge lines are worth documenting and some have been running longer than most "regular" railroads... any way to get the ball rolling here?

with the warmest regards for my steam disturbed colleagues...
