I certianlly have a good reason to want to see a rotary run; I am writing the book, but if it means damaging or destroying OY, I would rather they not. The D&RGW never ran a rotary later than early April on Cumbres. By then the line had been kept open most of the winter and the flangers and Jordan Spreader could keep it open. In 97 when they last ran it, you could see it shaking itself apart with that hard packed snow. First C&TS rotary run was in January and the snow was light and powdery.
