Seems the vistor center is just another in the long line of historical destruction.

Consider just a few of the changes on C&TS property since State purchase in 1970.

Switches removed
Sidings removed
Cumbers snow shed gone
Wool warehouse gone
South end trackage removed
Water tanks revised w/interior tanks
New Chama toilets building
Telegraph system gone
Addition to existing Chama engine house
Lava tank house mostly destroyed
Cars and engines rebuilt w/new materials
New cars created
Big horn section house burned
New Osier eating facility
Osier wye created
etc, etc
