I really don't care who is going to blame whom about this mess but now is a good time to get it done and done right. No shortcuts.
Do it. Do it right. Do it right now.
Or in this case, fix the locomotive, fix it correctly with no shortcuts and to begin immediately before prices go up more...
I do like the idea the locomotive will be used occasionally and not in daily service. Since this is the case, why not make her a coal burner again to be historically accurate. Just a thought.
Guess I'll need to plan a trip a couple years down the road to visit Colorado's railroads when more motive power is back in service. Looks like my chances pretty slim for a good steam fix when I'm out next month (other than CATS and D&S.)
